The first Pixar animation
This video created a lot of buzz lately, but after researching a bit I came to conclusion that it's not fake. In 1972 Ed Catmull (founder of Pixar) and his workfellows produced the world's first 3-D rendered animation (demo real of cutting-edge computer animation), an recreated digital version of Ed's left hand. You are able to see some "making of" footage (around 1:30) and another early on tries out.

Amazing new material: GRAPHENE
I will start with this: the developers of Graphene won last year's Nobel Prize. There are many men of science out there that belive that this new material means the end of silicone. Also it could be the foundation of a new generation of computers.
Graphene has been named the "miracle material" of the 21st Century.
What is graphene? Watch the following video.
The future applications of Graphene are limitless.
Samsung has been among the largest investors in the graphene research, together with South Korean Sungkyunkwan University. It has already exhibited a 25-inch flexible touchscreen using graphene.

The best tablet of 2011 Comparison
This is a short comparison between Apple iPad 2, Motorola Xoom, HP TouchPad and BlackBerry PlayBook.
When it comes to platform, I really think iPad 2 and Motorola Xoom are the best because you can find plenty of apps for iOS and Android.
Motorola Xoom has the highest resolution (1280x800) on a 10.1 inch display.
If we talk about CPU speed, HP TouchPad stands up with its 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon. It's almost certain that every of these tablets will feature 1GB Ram, so it's a tie here.
The camera winner is BlackBerry PlayBook with a 3 megapixel front camera, and 5 megapixel rear camera being able to record 1080p videos. As you've seen in my previous post, iPad 2 is thinner than iPhone 4, and that also makes him the thinnest tablet PC available so far.
Which is the best Tablet PC of 2011? I really think it will be a fight between Apple and Motorola, but if we take into consideration the large fan base Apple has gathered over the years, it's certain it will be the most talked about tablet this year.

Watson: The smartest computer in the world
We've seen it in many movies across time. Machines becomes smarter than man and conquer the world. The old battle between Man vs Machine is put to the test by scientists in a Jeopardy game. They say "Watson" is world's greatest and smartest computer and he can actually think. It has an equivalent power of 6000 home computers. But what's special about Watson is the software that allows it to understand human language like no other.

Kinect with Windows Phone 7 (video)
This is a demo straight from Microsoft letting us know that big things are coming in the future. You can see Windows Phone 7 connected directly to your Kinect. This comes shorty after Nokia and Microsoft just tied an agreement, meaning Microsoft is ready to take over the phone market. If this would be available to the general public, it would increase the numbers of Kinect players that are able to play in the same time.

Israeli Exoskeleton Suit Enables Paralayzed People To Walk
After being unable to move for the last 20 years, Radi Kaiof started to walk down a street in Israel to the sound of a black mechanical hum. That was the sound of an electronic exoskeleton, produced by a little Israeli hi-tech company, impelling the 41 year old paraplegic down the street with a proud expression on his face
